Lia Rimondini is Professor of Applied medical sciences and technologies at UPO and coordinator of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action “PREMUROSA”. She has strong and documented experience in development and pre-clinical characterisation (in vitro and in vivo studies, microbiological studies) of implantable- and nano-biomaterials mainly addressed for muscular-skeletal and dental tissues regeneration or substitution. The Department of Health Sciences at UPO is devoted to produce knowledge on the key aspects for human health and transform it into enable technologies. In RESTORE, UPO contributes to develop and characterize the anti-infective and immune-compatible devices.
