Dr. Raquel Gracia obtained her BSc and MSc in Chemistry at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She got her PhD from Sheffield University (UK) focussed on the synthesis of organometallic complexes. After, she was the employed there to develop pH-responsive polymeric materials. She moved to the University of the Basque country to work in the synthesis of poly(ionic liquids) for energy storage. Nowadays, she works as researcher in the Biomaterials Unit at CIDETEC in the development of nanoparticles for therapeutic applications. (WP7 and WP2)

Dr. Janire Alkorta obtained her BSc in Chemistry and MSc in New Materials at the University Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She got her PhD in Applied Chemistry and Polymeric Materials in the UPV/EHUin 2019 , focused on the production of hydrophilic Macro-Chain Transfer Agents (macro-CTA) mediated aqueous emulsion polymerisation latexes, in the framework of EU project BYEFOULING. Nowadays, she works as researcher in CIDETEC Nanomedicine in the development of nanocarriers for therapeutic applications. (WP2)
