The Restore consortium met at the end of May in beautiful Oulu in Finland. This was the first meeting in person since Covid. After such a long time with numerous online meetings, all partners from different European countries were looking forward to meet each other face to face. The focus of the meeting was the exchange of current research results and to review the upcoming work of the last few months of the project. The first day of the meeting took place close by Nallikari beach with a wonderful view from the meeting rooms, where we had a lot of presentations about the great work and contributions to the RESTORE project of all partners. At the second day, the consortium met at the facilities at University of Oulu and visited the laboratories there, followed by deeper discussions in small groups on the different work packages of the project. At the social gathering there was time to talk about all the challenges which had to be overcome in the different countries during the pandemic. Overall the project meeting was a great success.
