Database of patient-specific anatomical models for condyle lesions
3D printing of patient-specific anatomical features of tissue lesions provides surgeons with an immediate and intuitive understanding of even the most complex anatomical morphologies, enabling accurate planning and emulation of various surgical procedures.
RESTORE is creating a chondral lesion database, to provide accurate patient-specific 3D anatomical models (computer models as well as 3D printed models) of different chondral lesions and the surrounding bone and soft tissue. This database will be submitted to discipline-specific, free of charge community-recognised repository for other projects and physicians to use.
This database will facilitate health professionals to develop, design, test and validate 3D printed microtissues (RESTORE solution IV) that can fit patient-specific lesions.
