Paolo Gargiulo is the director of the Institute of Biomedical and Neural Engineering and the Icelandic center of Neurophysiology and manager of the center of Medical Technology at the University Hospital Landspitali/ Reykjavik University (RU). He developed at Landspitali a 3D-Printing service to support surgical planning with a significant impact on the Icelandic health care system and currently cooperates with institutions in Italy and United Kingdom to establish similar infrastructures. Med-Tech companies. In RESTORE, RU will build a database (clDB) of patient-specific anatomical models of different chondral lesions.
